The quality of my dogs- Quite honestly these prices are VERY modest- I dare you to compare !
The quality of my work - My worth as a breeder
Competitive/ Comparative to other programs 
Could I find this coloration easily elsewhere
The rising cost associated with raising a healthy well rounded litter.
Some families choose only on appearance- therefore a deterrent at different price point. I aim to not have color or pattern be the primary reason at selection.  I encourage discussions about what to look for in choosing the best puppy as per their individual qualities and traits that make them the most suitable for their household.
To discourage dishonest people from obtaining my most "valuable/ hardest to achieve" dogs.
Quite honestly the part of breeding I dislike the most is pricing.
I would love to be able to dye all of the puppies black and families would choose with my assistance the puppy that best suits them and upon arrival home, they would wash their puppy to discover his/her true color.
Ironically, it might appear that I have selected by color as well but please be reassured, I have looked at all of the dogs traits both visible and not before coming to a decision. There is nothing more unpleasant than living with a dog that does not meet your lifestyle. It can be a nightmare for both you and the dog.
